Chasing Jannah

May 13

With legs to take me where I’d go.
With eyes to see the sunset glow.
With ears to hear what I’d know

Oh Allah, forgive me when I whine.
Everywhere, in all our lives, these are His signs

Arabic trnaslation:

{وَإِن تَعُدُّواْ نِعْمَةَ اللَّهِ لاَ تُحْصُوهَا إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَغَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ }

How can you say you’re not beautiful?

alsmooth:

Because Allah ”has given you shape - and made your shapes beautiful”(Gafir 40:64)

Because He has “indeed created man in the best of moulds” (al-Tin 4)

Because He “created all things in the best way and He began the creation of man from clay” (al-Sajdah 32:7)

Because “everything in the universe has been created beautiful, with purpose and in proportion and measure, both qualitatively and quantitatively” (al-Qamar 54:49)
